Update on the dogs

Garrett brought over that black mesh bag full of tennis balls and Max got all the balls out and rounded them up like they were his babies and wouldn't let Manny within 10 feet of them. If any of them moved he would retrieve them and bring them back to the group. I got a chip clip with teeth on the edge from a dental vendor and Manny wanted to exchange his teeth for the straight, large pearly whites.

Zach's Birthday Celebrations

Zach's parents and Nellie came for the weekend before Zach's birthday. His parents took us out to dinner Friday night and his mom made him a birthday dinner and cake Saturday night. They also treated us to a movie, "All About Steve". This was Sunday morning after breakfast on a walk in downtown Omaha. Our friends, Garrett and Kristin, went out to dinner with us and came over for pie and ice cream and present opening.Zach received his favorite present, his Snuggie. He now strips down, puts on his snuggie, and parks himself on the couch or in front of his computer after dinner. He loves it!

Zach's Birthday - MMA Fight Night (Cage Fighting)

Zach's parents got him tickets to an MMA event (cage fighting) with 13 fights. "Our" favorite fighter, Houston "The Nebraskan Assassin" Alexander won his fight by knockout in the first couple minutes. He is a 37 year old single father of six and he donated one of his kidneys to one of his daughters (this is why I cheer for him). Zach is impressed by his devastating leg kicks, improved takedown defense, and impressive muay thai clinch.
